IQ Landscape Architects worked on this 38 acre equestrian estate to develop a comprehensive layout for the new owners. The property was originally a wooded site. IQ designed the layout of the main residence, stables, outbuildings, landscape structures, entry drive, meadows, orchard, outdoor spa, pool and two large horse pastures. More than half of the property is local or state wetlands and is under conservation easement. The site development responded to the sensitive nature of the site. IQ along with the Civil Engineer acquired all necessary wetland permits for the proposed work. An extensive wetland mitigation planting plan was created along the entry drive and surrounding the existing farm pond. Then the horse pasture planting was put in.
