IQ Landscape Architects collaborated with the architectural firm of Perkins Eastman to develop a comprehensive ten year master plan for the Harvey School, a renowned private academic institution located in Northern Westchester County. The goals and objectives for the master plan included integrating existing and new buildings within the campus setting which reinforces the bucolic character of the landscape. New roadways, parking areas, and paths were introduced which addressed internal circulation patterns and pedestrian/vehicular conflicts.
The firm also identified areas on campus for new ball fields and provided recommendations for the reorientation of existing ones to maximize their usage. The project team interfaced with key members of the School Board and administrative staff to develop a clear understanding of issues and to establish both short and long term goals.
