IQ Landscape Architects devised a series of schemes for a plaza at the Lincoln Center campus for Fordham University. From these schemes this option was selected. The plaza features a curvilinear design with benches to match, berms, a birch grove, and a feature tree. The plaza acts as an urban park and creates a gathering place for both students and the public alike to relax and interact with one another within the bustling city environment. The following image is a smaller corner park for Fordham's Sofia building which sits diagonally across the street from this plaza and helps visually tie the two areas together.
