A new 170 unit development incorporating attached townhouses, single mid-rise buildings, and a clubhouse facility was developed in Rockland County overlooking the Hudson River. IQ Landscape Architects, P.C., along with Ginsburg Development LLC, worked on numerous phases of this new urbanism project. These phases have included ‘Site A’, the residential development, a separate Sales Center facility located adjacent to ‘Site A’, comprehensive streetscape improvements along the town street, a public waterfront esplanade, public pocket parks, and enhancement to the existing lagoon basin.
IQ developed an overall Master Plan based on new urban principles. In addition, schematic designs for architectural site features were developed for lighthouse towers, arbors, gazebos, and open pavilions. These site features as well as site furnishings were custom designed following a nautical theme that reflects the architecture of the buildings as well as creating a connection to the Hudson River.
